1985 Mercedes 190D

I spent this past weekend polishing my 1985 Mercedes 190d. First I washed and Clayed. Then I used M105/205 and finished with Adam's Machine Super Wax. I still need need to work on some deeper scratches, but I'm happy with the result on 25 year old paint.

Is this silver blue metallic? I had an '83 SD in that color.



Do you get winter where you live? This car looks very decent. Nice job!
 
It's blue metallic. The car has been in Texas it's whole life, so no real harsh winters. I'm the second owner, my aunt bought the car new in '85.

Smart move not going nuts on the correction, the clear on those early-mid '80s cars can be kinda thin.
