i didn't get too many befores or afters but im letting the ajt cure overnight and i will go back in the morning and decide whether or not i want to top it. the pics didn't come out like i wanted but i will definitely add many more tommorow, he is replacing the vinyl decals as they were ripped up. he's got flowmasters on it now but when he had the glass packs on he said you could hear it idle miles away, he also said this car is well know for running away from things in this area.;)

thanks todd i had to head back to the owners house tonight to get paid as he was leaving in the morning so i took a bunch more, thing has 430 hp.

only two hours of cure time later i could definitely notice a HUGE increase in slickness of jeffs twins, i think it suits this car perfectly

lol, he just called me and wants to know if i was interested in taking it for a ride on the track next weekend, too bad i'll be in bermuda.

i'm really not sure, i do however know this gentleman bought this car the model year, but he did not buy it new, the original owner put four thousand miles on it before he got tired of is not starting(due to rain leaking through the scoop to the engine and distributor) so he sealed it up and has had it since.

One of the most under appreciated cars out there. Love those body lines. I'm a sucker for big ol dinosaurs though. Great job keeping it looking like it should!

I am glad to see some of the older stuff popping up during these summer months. That green looks amazing, great job making that flake pop!

that isn't the original green actually it's the same green that blessed a 73 bonneville. yes the flake sure does pop thanks to jeffs prime and atj. the owner wiped it down with 425 and said it felt like glass, it definitely does.

VASuperShine- Nice job! Good choice of products for that particular car too.

I tried to respond to your PM but your box is full, so here's what I tried to send:

.. don't i remember you once owning a torino?

Sorry I didn't catch that thread..things are kinda hectic as we're getting ready to go out of town and the new dogs are keeping me busy anyhow... So I'm not checking as many threads as I would normally.

I'll check it out when I get a chance, but no, the only Ford products I've *ever* had were an '87 Lincoln LSC and a few Crown Vic Police Interceptors. Back when I was playing with muscle cars I was a MOPAR guy ;)

[End PM]

Now that I've checked it out....

Hey, I *thought* I recognized that Pontiac green :D It *is* a bit different from the Ford color and I like it better. Pontiac had some cool green metallics back in the '70s, my first car ('70 Dodge Monaco) was reshot with a Pontiac Metallic green in '76.
