I was stupid not to take befores. I just didn't think I could make it look this nice, which isn't coming through the pictures.

Very impressive! Excellent detail on a gorgeous car. You use FK #108 on tires? I find it to be too nice of a product to use on tires, but I must admit, those tires look very nice. Why are there different rims on the car in some of the pics?

Nice Fintail Thomas. Although they are not considered very collectible, they are very unique. That car looks show ready !!! Great job !!!

How many miles on that car?

That looks really nice...

I hope you don't mind answering a question: how do you like the FK1 108 on the tires? How would you rate the glossiness, ease of application, etc. Most importantly, how long do you find it lasts? Sorry for all the questions :)

paul34 - while I have used many different brands I haven't tried all. So far #108 is my favorite. Most likely not as durable as Meg's Endurance, but it is very easy to use, dries to touch and looks great. It will however keep the tire black for a long time. You can make it look very shiny or flat. it is up to the user.

Thanks everyone!

The owner buys old Mb's all the time and calls me to shine them up. Then he sells them.

Looks so nice! I spent a lot of time in those cars as a small kid, with todays' products these cars look better today compared to 40 years ago!

Hey thanks!

You should have seen how much dead paint came off of it. I was washing pads out like crazy.

Scottwax: It isn't white. Some baige color it is.
