160 mph Car dryer

Bill D

Hooked For Life
I just got back from a local Pep Boys and saw a compact 160 mph car dryer that can also be used inside the car. Comes with a carry bag for $30. I tried recalling the website but forgot and cannot find it after numerous Google searches. Brookstone.com carries the same item but it is out of them and doesn't show any info at all about it :( An advantage of this item is it is much more compact that the typical leaf blower. I suppose 160 mph is sufficient ( kinda wished they made a 210 mph version :D)

Anyone have one of these? What do you think?

That one is pretty close. I will be checking Ebay. BTW, what brand is yours? Is it all black? Maybe it's the same one I just saw.

Thta's what I'm wondering. I gotta try to get out to Pep Boys again to take down the website of the dryer

please do and let me know how it works. If it works as advertised, I just might have the easiest time drying other ppl's cars.

I picked one up at Schucks Auto supply for $10 last year and it works great. Went back to get another one for a friend and haven't been able to find one since.

I finally got it today. Was pleasantly surpirsed upon ring up at the counter it was $18 instead of $30, not bad :up

And finally, here is the website, agh, never mind, doesn't exist any more :nixweiss

Hey Bill,

Congrats on finding one of those dryers. let us know how you like it. which Pep boys did you get it from. probably the one on route 1 that had some in stock. I was coming home from the shore saturday and got off the parkway too high to get over to route 1 and I ended up on route 18 and stopped in at the Pep boys there. No luck at all and I looked all around the store and none of the people that were working ever heard of it either. I was pissed and did not have the time to drive down to the route 1 Pep boys. I dont think the company that made that dryer is making them anymore so whatever is out there on store shelves will probably be it. have fun with the new toy.

Steve,

Tell me about it!

I did just that, then went to the next closest one that's on Rt. 1. Hurry if you want one, I think theres only about 4 left or so.

Not even maybe 15 mins, I went the back way through Milltown, cut across in North Brunswick, near Auto Zone, onto ramp to Rt 1 South.

The dryer is impressive, car doesnt need it now but tried in the garage, nice a powerful! :up

Bill,

One more question and correct me if I am wrong but the store you ended up getting the dryer at is the one on Route 1 and Oak blvd in North Brunswick. this is the one I was thinking of. thanks again for the help.
