#16 application

i put nxt on my car last night around 11. i drove my car today, and although it's probably pretty clean, i know there is some dirt/dust on it, so i'm thinking i can just use some QD and wipe down the car and then add a fresh layer of #16 on top of it, huh? i just don't want to have to wash it again. i know i've heard to let nxt cure for about 24 hours, but i'm going to be cutting that short by a few; hopefully that is no biggy?

12 hours is enough for NXT to cure.

I'd hit it with some QD and then add another layer of NXT before I'd top with #16.

It's not a biggie for the curing time, but it is a biggie to not wash the car again. If there's even a single grain of sand or dirt on your paint surface, it can get trapped in your applicator pad and scratch your whole car.

If you wouldn't have driven your car, maybe, but definitely not since you have driven it.

The only time I'd consider not washing it is if it's been garaged and hasn't moved since yesterday. My cars sit outside in a carport, and i won't do anything without washing the car again, even if I haven't driven it.
