They have absolutely no case, a judge would laugh those idiots out of court and make them pay substantial damages to the owner of the Corvette.



The shop owner is a complete moron and shouldn't be in business if that is typical of his shop's work. The owner of the Vette needs to talk to a lawyer. He will win.

^^^^^YES TO THAT! They need to be stopped from ruining other peoples' custom rides. Considering how special this vette is to the owner, that will probably sway heavily in the owners favor.





Forgot to say, THOOO1, one the most incredible turnarounds Ive seen, superb work.
 
FWIW, I have no problem mentioning the bodyshop's name, infact I would. However the owner of the car is the one who asked me not to do it and I respect him. The owner later called me and asked to take down the orginal posts (at Meguiarsonline and Corvetteforum) for a while. My loyalty in this case will always be to the owner of the vehicle and I will always respect his wishes.

The front end reminds of me of the movie Cars. Looks like the car is smiling at ya. Great job on the detail. I hate to hear stories of people being treated unfairly after some shotty work.
 
Awesome work man that is a complete 360, and the owner needs to be refunded $$ big time you should sue for his $$ back and pay all legal fees and *your* bill as well.
 
he should of let that deumbass body shop try to sue him, how can they even have a case? they did the horrible work not him. amazing turn around glad that its in pristine shape now.
 
I remember the original thread from MOL, glad to see that you where able to correct most of the damage, and bring the car into such a great shape :up



But it just isn't fair that the body shop can get away with work like that, and then they even have the nerve to sue! Especially after all that the owner must have been going through regarding his son :(
 
I had to do a touch up of the this car for a local Corvette show...



I had to lightly repolish some areas with M80 via PC, then I hand applied a coat of #7, followed by two PC'd coats of M26, topped with M16 to seal it all in....

thats a sweet vette! looks like you did a really nice job! what is that vent or fan looking thing in the headlight?
 
other than that wing, and the whole bumble theme that is one sweet vette. I would take it like it is however.

Yes he has fans on each headlight to cool the Xenon lights and pull moustiure out of the headlight compartment.
