This customer brought this brand new '12 Corvette to me for prep a full clear bra install. It had spent it's newborn life on 2 dealer lots before he bought it and you know the rest! Been washed with who knows what for months! Heavy bonded contaminates were all over the car. Headlights were also fogging up! Car has only 89 miles on the clock! All the trim around the doors has damage from rotary prep, which the owner is having the dealer replace. Headlights were polished and coated but when heating them up noticed that the fogging went away, so there leaking also! They will also be replaced. Onto the action, fairly straightforward.

2x Dawn wash

Clayed with Clay Magic

Great job! How do you like the Tuf Shine?

Thanks! Mark, been using Tuf Shine on a few test vehicles for about a year now and if properly cleaned before and after application it will last a long time. The only thing that removes it is curbing and some harsh chemicals dull the finish. But prep is key. It really repels dirt, one lap around with a wash hit and the dirt just falls off. Been using it as an upsell item. So far customers really like it. Best part you can put multiple coats for "High" shine and there's no sling, completely dry. The matte look is what I prefer very low deep black look. This Vette was 2 coats at the owners request.
