Can someone please let me know why 106ff is called a finishing polish here on autopia. I used it for the first time today, and it clearly has more noticable abrasives than Intensive Polish. In my experience is it somewhere between a compound and a polish, but finishes very nicely as a one step. But finishing polish? I don't see it.

Well according to VaSuperShine 106FF has not cut at all..

in fact it cuts like water ;)

My experience has been that 106FF has alot of cut on a given pad. Most other finishing polishes finish better with the same pad.

106FF is quite versatile though with a finishing pad it does provide an awesome final finishing gloss. However with a polishing or light cut pad it provides swirl removal and gives very little holograms or marring.

106FF has a cut of 2.5 and works very well with hard clear coats.......

PO85RD has a cut of 1.5

PO87MC has a cut od 1.0

All three are considered finishing polishes by Menzerna. Nice to have a few options for different types of paint finish....
