1-Step Advice

I'm working on a relatively new black BMW next weekend and I'm running out of P203S. I want to do a 1-step correction on it and i plan on ordering the LC tangerine pads with power finish. Do you guys think that I can do a one-step without leaving haze and having to follow up with 106FF?

If you want to do a one step I use something that is not too harsh. I do not know P203S so I can not talk about that but I use optimum polish II or even megs Ultimate Compound for an OTC product because they leave the paint LSP ready. Always use a less intense polish because you can always do an area 2 times but once you introduce hazing or micro-marring you have to go to a 2nd step, just keep that in mind.



I would also try a white pad first since you might have the butter soft BMW paint, than if you need it go to a orange pad.

I've used the CCS power orange pad with PO203 on numerous occasions, on both hard and soft paint.



As suggested, try the green pads first, it'll minimize any micromarring you MAY get and finish down nicely as well. IME The orange pad can one step just as well with no hazing for an LSP ready finish.



Just remember to work the polish until it finishes down.
