07 Tacoma Dealer Fix

Dads new truck. I told him not to let the dealership prep it, but they ended up doing it anyways. Left some light buffer trails from the rotary. Came home from work and my dad was about to wash it with a wash mitt that has been laying in a corner of my garage for a few years, and a chamois that was caked in dirt

Instead I gave him my stuff and we both washed it. I am used to detailing darker colors, so doing this silver was cake. Literally took me five minutes to dry the car with a Cobra WW. I also forgot how much I like Adams Carwash, lots of lubrication and nice sudsing action.

- 2 Bucket wash, Adams Shampoo, grit guard

- Meguiars Quik clay

- FPII LC White Polishing pad

- #16 LC Black Finishing pad

The pics dont really do much justice. After the wax the silver was very deep and wet looking and the metallic really popped. Plus the sun was going down but I got some decent shots.

That Taco is beggin for some wheels. Check my CarDomain for some ideas on what mods can be done to the new Tacomas. They can really look sharp with a little help.

yea man that thing looks great, i avoid dealer details at all costs, even if i trust the dealership to work on my car(which is rare)... id never let them touch my paint.
