Theres a Gallon of Meguiars #66 Quick Detailer (says cleaner wax) at my local AUto shop going cheap here and I got no idea what it is, whether its a QD or Wax, when you shake it it sounds really thin like a QD is not like a thick wax at all.....I cant find any info about it on their web site so what is it?

<strong class='bbc'>Quick Detailer

One-step cleaner/wax, specially formulated for high-production reconditioning. Aggressive cutting action
Quickly and safely removes oxidation and blemishes
Restores deep gloss and provides a durable wax finish

M-6601 ....................1 gal. [/b]

It was under Step 2 - Surface Prep

Could be part of their new line. Last time I was in one of the Autobody Supply shops they had a line of Meguiar's products with white labels for detail shops. It becomes confusing when they have a consumer line, a professional line and now a less expensive detail shop line. The clerk told me they were less expensive and probably meant to compete with cheap products sold in bulk.

Haven't been able to find any info on them and the distributor hasn't pumped out any info on this line. Don't know how it compares to Final Inspection.

I think you are refering to Meguiars some what new line of detail products. The new line has been out for sometime. Its made for detailers that wanted a low end product to use instead of their premium line. Call Meguiars and they will mail you their catalog.

The Meguiars #66 as bretfaz posted is apart of their Mirror Glaze line I think. Its not consumer and its not apart of their new cheaper pro line.

It sounds like a cleaner wax, with more cleaner than wax.

Guy's been very busy, this is a 07 BMW Monaco Blue. Full correction is what the customer wanted. Interior was like brand new, didn't even snap any pictures. Engine bay just needed a good wash. Exterior had RIDS, Holograms, and some water etching. 18 hours in total. Had to go with PFW and 105 on a rotary to knock down the damage then went over with Hydro finishing pad and 205. Softest paint I've ever seen! Marred with everything, that why I ended up with 205 and a finishing pad. I tried jeweling with 85rd but all I was doing was adding marring everywhere! IPA I had diluted down to 2:1 to remove carrier oils and even then it was inducing marring! So I consulted with Dave from Street Dreams (thanks Dave,I owe you) he suggested Meg's Final Inspection, which worked much better! Finished off with Power Lock. Enjoy!

Great results on a difficult car to work on. I have also used M34 many times after polishing, and it does do a very nice job, and you are right about Dave. He has helped me on numerous occasions. If there is something that I am not sure about, Dave is the first person I reach out to.

Thanks Barry! This thing had it all, RIDS, Marring, Holograms!! And I think it was a respray, paint was super soft! Marred any time it was wiped down! Dave helped out big-time! 34 is in my arsenal now!
