1 Clean WS6
Detailing Rottweiler
Hey all!!
Yesterday I had the great pleasure of working on one of Modular Powerhouse's Signature Series Mustangs. These cars are all built off of brand new Mustang GT's by MPH (Modular PowerHouse) and are sold through select dealer's throughout the southeast. They are available in three stages with Stage 1 being an appearance/bolt-on car, Stage 2 being a 500hp Vortech blown car and Stage 3 being 800hp turbo car. Each are individually serial numbered and just beautiful. Very classy and tastefully done with nothing being over the top or in your face.
This particular Stang is serial number 1 and has served duty as MPH's show and sample car. It is a Stage one car with all the appearance mod's and the basic bolt-on's. The car had about 3K on the odo and was in need of a good clay session and some polishing. The owner of MPH, Tim Barth, told me that this car will eventually end up on auction at Barrett Jackson...pretty cool indeed! Below is a description of process and products used.
As usual detailed white paint is a tough color to capture with a digital camera but I did my best.
Enjoy,
Mike
Wash with Meg's Gold Class shampoo
Clay with Meg's aggressive formula overspray clay using PB's Spray and Wipe as a lube.
Polish with Poorboy's SSR 2.5 using a LC orange pad and my PC set at 5-6.
Polish with Poorboy's PwS using a LC white pad and my PC set at 5-6.
Seal with Poorboy's EX-P by hand with a foam pad.
Tires and wells have AA and all exterior trim has Meg's #40.
