06 Civic & 05 Liberty in WG !!

So, this past weekend I decided to completely redetail 2 of my cars, and went WG 100%. I absolutely love the results (the pics are not the greatest, tho). Here are my processes and results:

* Both cars washed with WG Autobathe & foamed (AG samples), then I removed all waxes and sealants with 50/50 alcho & water wipe down.
* Both cars again washed with WG Autobathe
* Liberty - WG Swirl Remover and WG Finishing Glaze
* Honda - WG Pre-Wax Enhancer
* Both Cars - WG Sealant x2. Later treated with WG Spritz QD.
* Tires on both cars - WG Black Diamond Tire Gel (applied after the pics were taken, ugh!)

This is the first time I've removed swirls (yippie!!), and I loved the finish that the WG Swirl remover left with the LC orange pad. After using a gray LC polishing pad for the WG Glaze, WOW!!! Did not use these on the Honda due to time constraints, but next time definitely will.

The 2 subjects: First up is my 06 Honda Civic (Royal Blue Pearl), followed by my wife's 05 Jeep Liberty (Dark Beryl Green Metallic).

Not so sure... with the naked eye I can't see any orange peel. Almost thinking it's due to the pearl finish in the paint. It's an odd color of blue and I've not been able to get super sharp reflections even when I use like UPP, EX-P, etc. Matter-of-fact, when the lighting is just right (dim garage, low light reflection from an angle) it almost seems like the clear coat is a slight tan haze. I even noticed it after I stripped off all the old waxes and sealants this past weekend.

I've got a pic of the Liberty with the same reflection (of the house) and it's super sharp.

They both look great, especially the hood pic on the liberty. How bad was the Civic? I can't imagine it being that bad, since I am guessing you only had it a few months. By the way, I love the color on it.

Oh, no, the Honda was in good shape anyway... I just got the urge to re-do it :D
