Customer was seeking to have the headlights refinished and a little refresher to the vehicle. Had fun battling with the intermittent thunderstorms throughout the day, but the car came out very well.

PROCESS:

- pre-rinse with pressure washer

- wash with Chemical Guy's Citrus Clear & Wash

- tires scrubbed with Meguiar's APC (4:1) via Meguiar's Tire Brush

- wheels sprayed with P21S Wheel Gel and let dwell for a few minutes then agitated with Swissvax wheel brush

- wheel wells sprayed with Meguiar's APC (4:1) and agitated with a brush

- clayed with Riccardo yellow clay, using a dilution of Chemical Guy's Citrus Clear & Wash via foam gun for lube

- applied XMT180 wax via PC and red Lake Country CCS pad

- wiped down via Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer

- Aquawax applied to all glass surfaces

what did you do to the tires? they look great. nice work on the headlights too.

Thanks. Tires received a few coats of a combo of Optimum Opti-Bond (1:1 with water) and an equal part of Showroom FX White Pearl tire dressing.

very nice for a simple job.

so how do you like the xmt180? i was thinking about purchasing it

For this type of application I think it worked pretty well. Although be careful, do NOT apply it thick, nice and thin. It is a BEAR to remove if hazed over and thick.
