04 Turbo cobra questions

well, I have a detail set up with a friend of mine, its a turbo terminator, automatic, built motor, etc...car was built by coastal dyno, anyways, have any of you ever dealt with vinyl stripes? they are pretty thick, almost 2 mm and I was wondering if it was safe to use my pc on them...here is a picture of the car

Are they just vinyl stickers on the paint? If so then I would advise against polishing them, as they are just stickers.

I would mask the edges of the stickers off with 3M painters tape as a precaution.

yea, they are just stickers, looks like I'll have to mask them, you can wax them though right? I'm almost positive on that one....and yes, the orange does look better in person, its competition orange...its not nearly as dull as in the pictures
