So over the years I have taken very good care of this truck. My question is can this (hood)be fixed with a certain product and pad combo or does this need to be repainted.I think its going to end up like the roof. The second pic of the roof was 2016.

It looks as if the clear is starting to fail on the hood just like the roof. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, only way to fix that is with a repaint.
