Long time lurker, first time poster. My wifes Seq. was in need of some TLC. I used a 5 step process. Clay, Menzerna Intensive Polish, Menz. Final Polish II, Menz. Finishing Touch Glaze, and finally, Menz. FMJ. Spent over 24 hrs total on it. Now, this included the wash/dry, clay, taping off windows/trim, and polish/wax. A LOT of work, but worth the effort. A couple of areas of interest are the passenger mirror which had a paint scuff from the garage frame(wife forgot to put the mirrors in), and also an area on the rear quarter that was deeply scratched. The scratch did not go away, but much less noticable. Feedback welcome. Thanks so much and great site/forum.

You sure gave that vehicle a lot of attention!!! Looks great. I don't think I've ever detailed on one of my personal cars for 24 hours! (Except when I was restoring the Vette)

thanks for the kind words. i figured that if i do it right the first time and take my time, then from there on out, it will be easier to maintain. after spending that much time on it, i know every square inch. i also know where to spend extra time at next time.

i do have a ? though. has anyone used the Menzerna finishing touch glaze? i really thought that it would have helped hide the remaining areas a little better. i applied it according to directions. it did enhance the gloss some(kinda hard to do after two rounds of polishing;)), but some of the scratches that didnt compound/polish out, didnt "fill in" like i thought a glaze would do.

any thoughts, suggestions?
