I've been working on getting a nice digital camera to start a portfolio as tons of great cars have been passesd by un-photographed! I decided to borrow a friends digi for the time being (sorry for no before pics and the crappy weather but whatyagonnado?)

This is a 2004 Dolphin Gray Audi S4 from a regular client of mine. He has also given me the thumbs up to use either this car or his Porsche Boxter S as a display car an an upcoming car show so he is probably one of my favorite clients. :D

Coming soon in a couple days...

- 1965 VW Bug with custom Peach/White two-tone paint

- 1963 Ford Galaxie 500

- 1974 Mercury Cougar XR7

... my boss is auctioning part of his classic car collection and decided to keep me busy for a couple days, yay! Just finished the bug an hour ago hence the late post. I just couldn't wait to get it started. :grinno:

I love the car as well! I *have* to drive it back and forth from the clients office, but the paddle shifters make it fun.

The paint had a few swirls and small scratches that needed to be buffed out but overall wasn't too bad. The boxter is his summer car and the audi is the winter car (as you can see he still has winter tires on... which i mentioned to him) so it gets the brunt of the Minnesota elements. I had to spend about 30 minutes claying the entire car and used up a whole bar.

The products I use are not too popular around here I've noticed, but they work well for my purposes. We order all our chemicals and supplies from Rightlook. I have a selection of waxes and sealants, however, and I chose Souveran Liquid for this.

You're all correct, it is an '05. His Boxter is the '04.

Pics coming soon of the classics with a special addition!

... I'm tired. Eight cars in two days...

Great job on the Audi, it looks like the snow tires are still on? Oh yeah, you besta post up some pics of the Beetle, I'm a die hard VW fan:bigups

Thanks, Scott!

Clearcoat on the S4 was actually very easy to work with considering it is an Audi. He had a few door scuffs and scratches that came right out with the polish.

Dave, pics are coming on the Beetle but now I need to rest. Those classics were sprung on me last minute and I still had appointments with regular clients I needed to keep. With them all going to auction today, I needed to get them completed ASAP. Lets just say... 6 cars in 24 hours. (The Cougar XR7 was a '69 by the way.)

I do have tons of pics, though, so look for a new thread coming soon!
