Hello all,
I detailed my fathers 03 Sonic Blue Victory Vegas yesterday, and applied the final carnauba coats today. The results are astonishing! Sorry, no pics at the moment, but I will try for some this weekend or next week.
Process:
Wash: Meguiars Gold Class soap
Mothers Clay (Meg's/Water as a lube)
Klasse AIO (applied to chrome, painted surfaces and wheels too)
Professionals Product UltraCoat Polish, 2 coats. (This is distributed and sold by P&S sales, they're based here in the Bay Area I think...)
Wax: Professionals Product Carnauba Creme Wax.
The Carnauba Creme Wax REALLY brought some depth to the paint, and when it's in the sun the metal flake pops out like no other! The Klasse and UCP took away virtually every swirl and scratch, and left a glossy, smooth swirl-free finish. The carnauba is a wonderful topper and works great with the UPC. I heard it's best to apply it 24 hrs after the UPC, and it seemed to work flawlessly this way!
It also made the headlight look like a mirror :bigups
Took about 3 hours total time I'd say, and it came out great!
