after realizing that megs OTC products would not cut it, i decided to try a few other products on my wifes honda. here's the process

i still need to do a few other things like clean the wheel wells and dress the trim. plus the front end needs a lot more attention. i also noticed that the clear coat appears to be pitted from water spots :grrr



any comments welcomed.
 
Looks great. Those dirty wheelwells really stick out though. :nervous:

What do you mean "pitted from water spots"? Do you see the water spots when you go over the area when washing, and then they seem to go away until they get wet again? If that's the case, those spots should come off quickly with AIO and a light-cut pad. If you have a PC that is. It'd likely be a tedious task if working by hand.

tommrow ill see if i can get a picture of the spots. it looks like oxidation has eaten part of the clear coat. i dont know if that is what has actualy happened or not, just what it looks like. i used a pc with an orange pad from lake country and the mothers pp.
 
Might be bird etching if its not all over the hood area? Unless you have lots of birds about lol!
