This was a deal I couldn't pass up, so I bought it.

2002 Grand Prix Coupe/ White/ EXCEPTIONALLY Clean and well-maintained. All service records since new, etc.

In these pictures, the only thing I had to detail was the engine bay (which was pretty trashed... as if the engine is not really part of the car! So, therefore, it doesn't need to be cleaned!!!)

I didn't touch the rest of the car. It was already detailed when I bought it. (kinda made me mad!):p

ENGINE DETAIL PROCESS:

Saturated engine bay with Purple Power APC
Scrubbed with a long handle tire brush
Re-saturated, then scrubbed smaller areas with a paint brush
Rinsed with a delicate stream of water.
Saturated the hood liner with Tire Foam... didn't touch it again.
Dried engine with leaf blower
Saturated engine bay with an entire can of Stoner Trim Shine...
Done!

ENGINE BEFORE: (PRETTY UGLY):

CAR SHOTS: (As stated above, I didn't have to touch the rest of the car... the guy I bought it from was pretty anal!

Nice work on the engine Bill, but if the guy was anal about his car why didn't he do his engine cleaning?

That was my question!!!! I don't understand it.

He showed me all the service records... oil changes, transmission flushes, radiator flushes, brake pads, on and on and on...

I think some guys don't think a clean engine is necessary (??????)

The rest of the car looked brand new.:banghead:

You bought Another Car Bill :thumbup:wink:

You must have a very understanding wife when it comes to your love of cars. The engine looks great but I am sure we will see you taking off the wheels and tires soon to clean them better.

And sooner or later you will work on the paint and interior

Do you still have your 06 Grand Prix?

Haha.... yeah, we've definitely done some car shuffling in the past couple years!

We now have 4 vehicles... '03 Corvette, '82 Corvette, '06 GTP, '02 GP/GT.

I'm hoping that satisifies my car craving for a while.

The only reason I sold the T/A is because I really didn't think we needed 3 sports cars!!!

And yes... I'm planning to pull the wheels off and doing a thorough detail of the brakes and wheelwells!!! (soon!)
