"Luck" Residue of design
Hi everybody, This is the car that I took to the Poorboys detailing weekend. This was one of the roughest cars at the event so I worked on the exterior only while at the event. The people in attendance at the detailing weekend had a chance to see that the interior of this car had some rather large, very bad stains on the interior carpets which I took care of the monday following the event. The car had a ton of bonded contaminates on it so Steve had no objections to me using the clay that I had with me instead of his clay. To those who did not attend the event, Sorry for no before pics. TD

Here is the process I used while at the event.

Clay w/ clay magic blue

Clay lube was PB APC

Polish step 1 with PB SSR 2.5 using makita rotary w/ edge 2k light cutting (green) pad

Polish step 2 with PB SSR 1 using makita rotary w/ edge 2k finishing (white) pad

PB White Diamond Show Car Glaze for light colored vehicles applied with Trent's PC w/ charcoal CCS pad

LSP Natty's RED

Wheels were scrubbed w/ PB Bug Squash using a cotton terry towel and then topped w/ PB Wheel Sealant

It rained on the way back home so Monday after cleaning the interior I washed the car and applied PB Spray and Gloss and also went over all the door jams with Spray and gloss.(Very nice product)

All I had on hand was black magic Tire shine so that is what the tires and wells were done with on Monday after washing.

Interior process.

PB APC only

I mixed up a 10 to 1 mixture of PB APC in a garden sprayer that I only use for detailing purposes. I thoroughly soaked the black stains and just wetted the rest of the carpets and mats. Using my Cyclo with the carpet brushes I scrubbed and scrubbed. Then extracted with my Rigid wet/dry vac.

The mats needed to be hosed off with water before extracting as they were just way too dirty after scrubbing.

Thanks Steve, you're right about the interior being trashed. I put another six hours in on monday to get it done. This is a good example of how truly great your products work. :bigups
