Just detailed this real quick and am now posting before I gotta do homework. :furious:

Anyway I did this in a hour and a half, all by hand and it was already washed. Its my mom's 03 Accord and the color is Night Hawk Black, but in some pics you would swear that its blue, thanks the the Natty's blue. And she and my dad are going to Vegas for a few days so it should get nice and dusty.

Process

Wash

Clay

Mothers Seal and Glaze

Natty's Blue

NXT insane shine on tires

Armor all on bra

Also testing PBs wheel sealant and Klasse SG on wheels, I will update with news.

Check here for before pics and review for Mothers S&G http://autopia.org/forum/showthread.php?p=626112#post626112

Looks at the wetness that the Nattys blue gave!

The Natty's blue also really made the blue metalic flakes POP! It almost looks blue.

Metallic's popping like crazy, makes the paint look very blue.

Got some swirls but you probably already know that. Should be a fun detail when you get the time.

Nice liquid-wet look.

Wow that is some nice flake action you got there. Nice job on the detail.

I have NBP and have yet to seen my paint's flake jump and pop like that.

Johnny, I just came in from working on my car and have used the following products that made the flakes jump out of the paint like that:

Optimum

ZPC

FPII

85RD

Those are all really "clear" polishes that show the true finish.

As far as LSP's go:

Z2 Pro

FMJ

OCW

Those are just to name a few.

Thanks guys! I must say that the Nattys blue gets better overnight! This morning when my parents were leaving, it looked amazing! I didn't want to see the car go, although its nice doing whatever I want while their gone. lol

Have you tried Natty's blue yet?

The funny thing is ever since I've owned my car i've been using combos that I though would yield clear results increasing the wetness/flake. I first used SSR2.5/EX-P then a month back I used Optimum/UPP. Its very possible that because I always finish later in the day I don't get to see the paint in direct sunlight and by the next day I have a nice coat of dust to hinder my paint. :furious:

Ah well its OK I can live with a little less flake action, I'm usually pretty happy with my paint after I detail whether its a clear/wet look or deep/glow; i'm happy either way ;)

Try the Nattys blue, its defintely worth the $13 IMO.

Great job on the accord pontman, even if its just a quick detail. Makes me so jealous when i compare it to mines. Well, in its current condition that is.

LOL Ya, I dont think I had to detail it to do that. Is your a auto or stick? If its a auto, then get the 6spd grill inserts for the side pieces where the fog lights go, unless you have fog lights. Also, see if you can cut out the stuff in the lower grill or some of them. Just a few things I thought would clean it up a bit, and they're free, since your front will have to be replaced anyways.

Hey, you know the difference! My parents didn't even notice! (my mom has an 03 auto, and my dad has a 04 manual)

Well here is the update I promised on the PBs Wheel Sealant.

These pics are after about 18hrs on mostly highway driving (to Vegas and back).

Without WS

IMAG0001.jpg

With WS (x1 on most)

IMAG0003.jpg

With WS x1

IMAG0005.jpg

With WS x2 (one layer after another)

IMAG0004.jpg

Conclusion: PBs WS works best when applied in at least two layers and no time is needed between layers. It is also obviouse that the WS does work. I'm not shure about washing yet, but will update again with results from that.
