What multipurpose degreaser do you guys like to use? one that can be used on any surface without harming it.

I've had great luck with Greased Lightning. Even used it this weekend on my tires. Did a great job and didn't seem to hurt my polished aluminum wheels at all.

How much does Greased Lightning cost per gallon if it's sold per gallon. Also, where do I find this stuff?

I don't know the exact price, but it was in the $6.00 range for a gallon. I've been getting it at KMart (don't know how that that will last!).

I've heard good things about Greased Lightning. I went to Kmart yesterday and got a bottle. I'm going to write up a review of it when I get a chance to use it on my wife's car.

I've come to like Charlie's Soap. I don't like anything that's too strong (corosive) so I try not to let things get too dirty before cleaning. It can be a problem when working on other people's cars.

This one is from a little while back, but thought I'd share it

It had pretty bad waterspots and very heavy swirls. I used the Meguiars W4 wool pad and #85 )which has nothing on the #105). Followed by yellow pad and Megs #80 both on the rotary. Finished off with 2 coats of Zaino Z5/Z2.
