i had one fender re painted over 3 months ago. the instructions for my car cover say it might not be safe to cover it. anything i should be worried about? anything i should do to the repainted fender? thanks

hopefully this is the right forum for this i have fake wood trim in my car and wanted to paint it. from what i read, i have to prime, paint, and clear coat it. will normal automotive paint do? any advice on this? its a wear and tear part (center console) i want to avoid the paint...
