I bought a new passenger side view mirror (non-electrical) for my 1996 chevy s10. im tried to take the door panel off to get to the old side view but had no luck. where are the places its latched to the door so i can ply it off, or is there any other thing holding it on like the window arm etc?

I was in a hurry and spraid some simple green on my rims. Now they have a crappy dull look, WHat can make it look shiney again, I have aluminum rims.
