Been reading the threads on detailing world forum from over in the UK and I noticed that they seem to use a lot more wax. Outside of Collinite, I don't see a whole lot of wax used in the US and a lot more sealants. I wonder why that is?

Got an email from Griot's Garage this morning for a new product - Hamsheen Engine Bay Dressing. You spray it on the engine and as it warms it wafts the scent of bacon. I just have to get me some Hamsheen!

Just got finished watching 'Desert Car Kings' on Velocity. They restored a '50 Stude Coupe. You can just see the swirls/wet sanding marks glinting in the sunlight. You could tell they didn't do any detailing on it at all and the paint looked horrible.

For paint or metal? Talking mainly about the applicator/pad.
