i recently re-painted and re-cleared my trunk lid. i wet sanded starting from 1500 and moved up to 2000. to get the scratches out i use 3M fine cut Rubbing Compound. but there are still some scratches in the paint. i'm afraid to keep using the rubbing compund, i don't want to get too deep into...

my clearcoat has failed. i want to know what is the quickest way to remove the remaing clearcoat from the paint. i'll be experimenting with wet sanding, trying to restore the paint. so far i'm using 2000 grit sandpaper to get the clearcoat off but its taking a while.
