I was wondering if using a mixture of water and liquid Dawn is ok as a lubricant for paint cleaning clay. Seems kind of costly to use QD spray everytime, and the Dawn would help stip old wax even more. I tried it and thought it worked well, but if anyone thinks this is bad for some reason...

With the endless pursuit to make a polymer product have a deeper gloss or shine, most people top with a carnuba wax. AutoGlym is supposed to be like Klasse but have a deeper shine to it like Klasse does with carnuba on top. Why is this product never discussed and used on this board? It seems...

I've heard that claying can remove wax and and sealant like AIO or SG but I don't see how. The clay just glides over the surface and picks up small microscopic contamination, so how does it attack wax and sealants? I'd like to maintain my finish by using a clay bar often but not if it strips...

Do the spray on tar and bug removal products strip wax or weaken it considerably? I think the Klasse AIO and SG would be fine, but I get the feeling that wax will take a hit. I HATE bug stains on a newly detailed car!

I am thinking of using my Klasse AIO instead of the Blackfire polish to see if it gives the Blackfire protectant an even gretaer depth. I would't use the SG as a topper, only the Blackfire. Anyone try this?
