I have two or three scratches on my car where you can see white. My car is black, and the scratches aren't metal deep. Did they just go through the clear and into the primer? How can i remove these if i even can? Also, would compounding remove really big scratches that 3M FI-II can't hanle?

I went to properautocare.com to check out theirs, they have three. I wanted the Porter Cable, but it says it's not for removing scratches. So, properautocare recomends getting the Makita for removing scratches, but this machine only goes to i think 3k rpm...

I heard from several websites, and that one show on Speed Channel that using dawn soap to wash a car is bad, b/c it removes important oils. I only want to use Dawn once, to strip the wax for the Zainos I'm waiting to put on. I have 3M wax remover, should I just use this?

Well, it's time to order the 3M. I have minor scratches and swirls all over the car, so what 3M product works best? Do I need compound cream or any harsh abrasives? Also, I've heard something about using Meguiar's No. 16 after 3M products, has anyone tried this?
