Have a question re: those replacement 9003/4/6/7 type halogen bulbs. 1. What is the purpose of that gray-ish metallic paint on the tip of the bulbs? 2. Any ramifications as to its removal with something like laquer thinner or denatured alcohol? TIA! Steve
