Did you ask the people how do they Know, there is more room to correct ? Did they Measure the total thickness ? Perhaps you can find a real Detailer that has a good, calibrated, paint thickness gauge, and measure all around that area, and tell you in Microns, how much is there... This alone...

It looks like you don't have much clear coat left on all the paint... Have you used a good, paint thickness gauge to measure in Microns, how much total thickness you have??? I would not as a Detailer, want to do anything to this paint if I measured it and found out the total thickness was...

Those paint chips look pretty new, and they were not done by rocks, etc., hitting the paint while driving... Tell the people that... Find a really good, reputable, Body and Paint shop, and get an estimate in writing, to fix those chips... Take it back to those people who last worked on...

Sorry to hear Sonax Polymer Net Shield has been discontinued where you live... I used a lot of it for Client's vehicles in the past, and it always looked great and gave the paintwork great protection... Stokdgs

It's not the machine, it's the user... Yes, pads will cause things to happen, but only if they are overloaded with dead polish and paint, etc... and the user keeps them going... , or does not know how to use the machine and pad/s/product/s... Then, you have to know how to use machine speed...

Oh, I know !!!! The first MiniCooper I detailed, I was Amazed at how much time it took just to Detail the Interior... It is really bigger than it looks ... That JCW version is supposed to be the fastest, when it first came out... Yeah, those little cars take - forever - :)

Absolutely takes time to Detail it perfectly... And your work shows it !!! I usually take around 28 hours, split almost, between inside and the entire outside, including trunk, engine, compartment, etc... DanF
