The newest MSDS sheet (dated 06/30/2004) for Imperial Hand Glaze on the 3M site lists Aluminum Silicate 3-7% as an ingredient. It didn't have it before. What is AS?

Sal Z. has resisted for many years the use of MF with his Zaino system. He has always recommended Cannon/Fieldcrest 100% USA Cotton. Fieldcrest went bankrupt last year. Waynestowels web site says that his towels are Zaino approved. Funny, but Zaino's web site makes no mention of them. Why...

does anyone know why most of the elite products have their origin thru Germany but nothing from Italy or Japan? For example===>>> 1Z, Wolfgang, Zymol, P21S, Menzerna, Sonax, Wurth... Just curious.

Anyone try this with good results? I have a few final polishes that are carnauba based (1Z MP, 3M Show Car Glaze) and a few that are loaded with oils (GEPC, IHG, #9, Hand Polish #81). I'd like to use them up. Besides 1Z Glanz Wax, do ploymer/acrylic sealants adhere to oils and carnauba?

Can someone offer some info as to why some/most MF towels scratch a CD and a few/handful do not scratch a CD? I CD test by rinsing the CD with water, blot dry it, spray Meguiar's FI and rub 25 times with a MF. In my tests, most CD's get scratched or micro-marred. But, some MF do not inflict...

Received my sample bottles this afternoon. There are no instructions. Questions for those that have used it: Light coats only, do you let it dry, 1 panel at a time? I guess I could practice but are there any user experiences with this wax?

Just got off the phone with Jeff at Menzerna USA. I will be receiving a sample of their wax on MON or TUE. It is carnauba based with some good silicone in it but no polymers (I believe no polymers). Jeff wants my feedback as to how it compares with other carnauba waxes that I have used recently...

...will soon name the #1 glass cleaner in a day or 2. I haven't seen the test yet but have ordered it. My personal favorite after 20 years is 1 wet lint-free MF towel and 1 dry MF towel. It beats all chemical cleaners that I have used over the years. We shall see.
