I plan on using FI-II on my black BMW. After I use it, will Meguiar's #7 be strong enough to remove all the haze or swirls that I've heard the FI-II creates (I've never actually used the FI-II), or will I need to spend ANOTHER $10 on SMR, Meg's #9, or some other swirl remover :( :( :(

Obviously, a polish will remove a dead layer of paint on non-clear coated cars. What does polish do for cars WITH clear coats since it does not remove dead paint? What's the point of an abrasive?

When polishing a non-clear coated car, the polish comes off on the pad. My question is this: does the collection of paint on the pad make the pad unusable again, or will a simple wash make it ready for use on clear coated cars and other cars? Also, would I have to change or wash the pad a lot...
