    Is it stupid to....

I just got my car back from the body shop after my run in with a deer. Anyway..my body guy painted the new bumper, fender and blended the door to match the paint. Now I know I can't really do much with those for 3 months or so until the paint completely cures. I had just spent some cash for...

    Need serious help

Well...I had a little incident which caused some pasta salad to spill on my bech seat in the back of my car. So now the oil and stuff has soaked into the seat. What are some steps to remove this? Should I take the cover off the seat?

    grand prix 1 : deer 0

Well..today on my way to catch some overtime I had the unfortunate luck of meeting a deer. My passenger side fender and the headlight, bumper and a bunch of other stuff is pretty much toast. All in all though...I'd say the car made out better than the deer did. He didn't move from the spot I hit...

    Too much product

Ok...so I got to looking at my products this weekend after my mini detail of my car last weekend. Anyway...I hardly used any FPII...but I used probably a 1/4 to a 1/3 of my VM. I know that's way too much to use..but it seemed to be what was needed. How do you tell?

    Having doubts

Ok..tomorrow I'm going to do a full detail on my car. It's supposed to be nice and fairly decent temps. However at work today (soaking up the overtime baby!) I was thinking about a way to work with my hood. It's a kaminari carbon fiber hood and I don't want to do anything to damage it. It...

    Couple of questions

First off. Do you all wash the eurow sheepskin mitts before use? If you do..how do you wash them? second..if someone accidentily were to wash one of my microfiber towels in the regular laundry with clothes and such and i'm sure fabric softener. Could it be used again if washed properly...

    Question on microfibers

Has anyone ordered any microfiber towels from rightlook.com? I didn't find anything by searching. They are uber cheap..but are they any good. Right now they have their 16x16 towels on sale for 1.49 each for 1-10 towels.

    Realized something today

I was testing out all my new products I have purchased over the past few weeks because for the first time it was a bit over freezing, and the garage didn't seem half bad with 12 layers of clothes on. Anyway..the test subject was my mom's grand marquis which she rarely bothers to wash unless she...

    Fellow Detail Citizens

I would just like to let you know that my parents and evey cashier i've encountered this weekend think I'm totally nuts. In a nut shell in the past week i've spent a ton of mony on detailing supplies! It's all your guys fault! My list of purchase so far: pc 7336sp kit from lowes Meguiar's #83...

    Question

Is there any difference other than the counterweight between the 7424 and the 7336? I have no problem spending the extra 20 bucks or so for the 7424 if it is better or has more features or something..but if it's only a little counterweight i'm not going to spend 20 bucks for it. Second...

    Ordered some products!

Hey all..I just ordered some poor boys products yesterday and I'm really excited to get them in. I've heard nothing but great things, and as the money allows I plan on purchasing the entire line. I do have a question though...what's a good combo to make the metallic really sparkle on my 04...

    First post..again!

Ok..so I guess I was posting this as the servers were switched...and now I can't find my post so I'll post it up again. I've actually been reading here for quite some time, but now I feel I can become a productive member of this online community. I used to be big time into detailing in my...
