    Helping out a friend

Had a friend who was doing some high speed auto crossing the other day. Someone messed up on the course and cut him off, taking away his brakeing apex. He ended up meeting a tire wall at 90 mph. Here are the before and after, I helped him out tonight using PB products, no water was used except...

    2001 GT Mustang Detail (DUW)

Before (It rained for a short while this morning, delaying my start till 10 AM): After: Took me roughly 6 hours. The outside is PB's PwC and EX ONLY. This car has 50,000 miles on it, and has never been detailed in its life. In fact, the owner went as far to say that it had...

    Which would you choose?

Its that time of year again, and its time to bust out the SSR lineup on my sweet Mustang to get it back up there in the bling bling factor. So which would you choose? The PC, or the Hot Water Extractor?

    Engine Detailing

Well I decided to go out and detail the engine of the 1995 Explorer EXT we own. Since it was a nice 60*, and the sun was perfect. Awhile back Natty was nice enough to send me a 1/2 gallon on Meguiars EK, and I gave it a shot today. After spraying in on with a sprayer that managed to actually...

    Removing swirls by hand

I was trying to remove swirls with SSR2 followed by SSR1 the other day. Due to a current personal budget crisis, I am unable to afford a PC (yet). When I used them, I did not really see much of a loss in swirls, and I used quite a bit of muscle. Ideas, thoughts, comments?

QD+: Its all about the sprayer

I went out after work today and decided to do a QD of my car with QD+. Well it turned into QD+, then Trim Restorer, then cleaning the wheels and tires, and dressing the tires, then cleaning the windows (don't you hate not being able to stop) Anyways, after hearing from Steve that he believed...

    Older engines

Since we are on this whole engine detailing kick right now, I must ask this. Many of you have detailed (or possibly own) older cars. These older cars very rarely have nice plastic parts to cover up anything. They just have the engine itself. What do you use to make these look good. I mean...

    Zaino vs Poorboy's

Allright, I had a bit of free time (plus my sprayers came in) so I decided to do a side by side comparison of Zaino & PB on the hood of a 2000 Red 325i BMW. Here is what each side received. Left - Zaino: 1. Clean with S&W 2. Clay with Clay Magic 3. Z-1 4. Z-3 Right - PB: 1. Clean with S&W 2...

    PB's Bio-Degradable cleaner

I have noticed that the bottle recommends this product for everything from wheels to engine bays. And Steve himself recommended it for cleaning interiors (vinyl, leather, carpets, etc) However, sicne it does such heavy to light cleaning, and is able to be dilluted. Are there any ratios out...

    EX: Machine or Hand?

Ive been considering how to apply EX when I get around to it. I wonder if I would achieve better results by using the PB PVC applicators, or to use something along the lines of a grey finishing lines.

A small question, turned into a realization

This is a continuation from a thread that was going off topic. Basically I am weighing using a cheaper product (Megs #66) for use on customer cars against PB's Polish w/Carnauba. The price difference is $24 and $55 resepectively, both in 1 gallon sizes. Forgive the following if it feels oddly...

    Pinnacle Paste Glaz

I have been looking at ordering a tin of this product to use on the white and silver cars in my household. I am considering using it over EX to acheive just a bit more pop. Is this overkill? Will it have problems bonding? Thanks in advance.

Allright, correcting myself here, since I hijacked another thread. Can someone give me tips on usage of a rotary. I am considering just skipping the PC all together and going straight for the Makita.

On PB's website it says: "CLEARCOATS, LACQUER, ENAMEL, IMRON, PEARL, FIBERGLASS, and GEL COATS" Can anyone describe how each of these are paint? I know clearcoat it, but how does Fiberglass qualify as a type of paint.
