Well, I've been driving my CRX around for about a week now, and it smells like a really old car. It doesn't have carpeting right now (weight reduction by a former owner), but I think the smell is coming from the seats. I don't think they have ever been shampooed, but I'm willing to work on it...

I just bought a 1989 Honda CRX Si. It's got a kit, and it's in primer right now. How much do you guys think it would be to get a halfway decent paint job? Thankfully, there's no rust, so there would be no bodyshop work needed. About what does that run?

Has anyone tried Turtle Wax Ultra Gloss. I've been using it for a while because I needed a cheaper, off-the-shelf product, and it actually works alright. Lots of wax residue, but it comes off easily, and it actually adds a decent amount of gloss on a dark red car. Only lasts about two weeks...
