Ok, I did not know all of this mattered so much until reading around here. I have a PC polisher with a velcro 5" backing plate but I am using Griot's 6" pads. Would it be better for me to find a 6" velcro backing plate and 6" counter weight? Or am I fine using what I got? Thanks!
I have always used a sponge from the local parts store but I am guessing that is a big no no. My car is black so what will be the most gentle? Brush? Mitt? anything else? Thanks
I got this white haze over all of my engines aluminum parts such as the block, alt. casing, and so on. I think this was caused by an engine cleaner I used. Is there a way to get this out and make the aluminum parts clean again?
