    Silver metallic

What a bugger paint to polish. As I live in Belgium, the PC is not available so I bought a rotary polisher from FLEX, http://www.flex-tools.de/en/prod/detail.php?id=182. I actually mailed to PC and they gave me this company that also sells in Europe (and has 220 v tools...) I used the DAS...

    PC rotation/orbiting

Here in Belgium, the PC7424 is not available. But the local bodyshop has a sort of look-a-like... It's just that when turning the machine on, with the pad an all in place at 1000 rpm or so, you just can hold the pad and it doesn't move, only oscilliating. Is this also with the PC, or will...

    Wheel protection ?

Every time I clean my wheels (and there is a LOT of dust.... especially after a track-day, :D ), I use MC2 wheel cleaner. It's an orange based degreaser and it works pretty well. No chemical residu, discolourisation or ruined finish. But it will strip off the wax, so what's best used to...

    Detailing in Belgium, :p

Hi all, I read this forum now for quite a while, but it was time that post a thread from my own. Detailing in Belgium is not very known, people use their car to drive from A to B without taking care of it. Most cars here are scattered with road grime, scratches, dents and bruses. Only a...

After the wetsanding, do you really need a machine polisher do bring back the gloss ? Or can you do it with "hand-force"? I don't like machine polishers because I'm afraid to ruin the paintwork... Wally

    Wally from Belgium

Hello folks, Looks like I found the right place to ask the right questions about car detailing. Driving around in my Impreza, mostly on circuit, takes it's toll on the car. Altough under the bonnet it's already "prepared" to take the abuse, I'm now in the right place to maintain the shiny...
