Thinking about some things...VW paint is fairly hard. 205 on a white pad does a nice job of bringing up gloss, but doesnt cut much. In an effort to go with a "least aggressive first" approach, would it be wise to try 205 on an orange pad? Think that would require follow up with a white/205...

2011 VW Jetta...hard paint. Just some light wash marring. Think a white pad and UNO is enough, or step to an orange? If I step to the orange, any thoughts on it finishing out well enough, or will it need a follow up with white? Thanks!

I am very intrigued by this product. I have a plethora of LC pads, so I am wondering if a white pad would be a good general, light polish pad to use with Uno? Uno looks like a REAL winner. Combined with Nitro Seal it should be an amazing combo!

Thinking of trying this on my daily driver. I've read a lot that FK 215 is a good prep. My question is, how long do you have to wait after 215 before applying 1000p? Also, would AG SRP be a suitable sub, or even something like MEg's color-X? Thanks for the input.

I've got 2009 Jetta in Platinum Grey. Daily driver and just some basic wash induced marring, a few RIDS, nothing major. I'm looking at either HD Uno or the new optimum spray polishes. Going to be used with a PC. Suggestions on product/pad? I appreciate the help. Brett

I've read conflicting stories, but am still attracted to 476 because it seems like it might be a bit more durable than 845. Is it really hard to use? Any tips on application/removal technique? Thanks.

I am almost out of 845. Thinking about maybe trying 476 or 915. However, I find 845 easy to use, look is pretty good (a little bright), and it lasts. Do either of the others stack up to, or are they better? Biggest concern is durability and ease of use. Car is a medium grey, FYI.

My car gets some very light sap spots from time to time at work. Looking for an OTC, good CLEANING QD. I also have some DP rinseless wash which I could dilute down, but looking for opinions on the best cleaning QD. LSP is IW845, so not concerned if the qd is a little tough on the lsp. thanks.

Anyone ever thought of this? I LOVE the stuff, and when I think about it, it works great on all trim, so why not try it on the dash? Might get flamed, but it just came to mind...hey, it's late! :) Thoughts?
