well i was polishing/waxing my car today with my PC. and i decided to finish it next morning.. can i just leave the foam pads with the wax dried up? or should i was them

well about 2 months.. sprinklers went all over my hood and my passenger side. i tried washing it.. polishing.. waxing blah blah.. it took it off but when you look at the hood directly when the sun is facing it.. you can see the waterspots still.. what can i do?? will vinegar help?
