Well i ordered some edge pads and a adapter for my rotary buffer from huey chemical and they sent me 6'' pads for a pc and now i cant freaking do a car this weekend. Im so frustrated now. :mad: :chair:

So i just bought the edge system with the green pad and the white pad. Now my question is i am going to detail my dads car this weekend and it has some light scratches. I only have ssr1 and was wondering if i should use the green pad or the white pad the get rid of the light scratches.

ne body use ne thing to get scratches out of glass?

Is the edge system (the quick disconnect and 2 different pads in 1) worth the practically $50, or should i just buy a light cutting pad and a finishing pat with the j-hook backing plate? Ps this is for a rotary buffer with j-hook backing plate

It was my first time to ever clay the truck and man did it make a difference... didn't have time to buff it so i just threw on some wax but here some pics of my baby.

I know that there are different types of clay, some more abrassive than others. I have a dark blue truck and it has only been painted for 2 months and there are some contaminiates on the paint. So what type of clay should i get and what brand?

Is there a tire shine out there that road grime and dirt doesn't stick too?

I am currently using nxt wax on my truck and it seams every time i wax it 30 min later there is dust every where. do all waxes seem to attract dust or what. Im open to any other waxes or tips i should try.

Can this be pulled by a paintless dent repair?

Ok i am getting my truck painted and i have been helping wet sand the trash and orange peel and the painter is buffing it. I think he only used 3m medium cut on it. is there somethink i should go back over it with to get any more swirls. Also I have a rotary buffer.

I am not sure if this is in the right section but here it goes. I am having my truck repainted and i was wondering if there is anything I need to do or don't do when i get it back. I know that your not supposted to wax it for a month or 2 unless you use a glaze.
