I was kind of impatient and not really concerned with the lower trim on my FX. I did my polishing and waxing and the lower trim is gone, all white and so forth. I'm thinking maybe a cleaner polish? I *know* I should have used painter's tape, and will from now on. :hide:

I've tried searching for this specific question but havent found anything to the point. Anyways, I just read that DACP causes marring.. what would be the best and most effective method to use with a PC and DACP.

I took the liberty of detailing my buddies 2k1 GTP. AIO w/ PC w/Polishing Pad Pinnacle Souveran by hand x1. Wheels cleaned with Spray Nine and a brush Black Magic Tire Foam. She looks very purdy. ;)

I just got my shipment in of Orange/Black pads, and they are concave in the middle. I decided to give them a shot. I applied my SSR2.5 to the orange one liberally then went to work. I found it hard to get the SSR2.5 to start laying evenly. Any tips tricks to using these types of pads?

I just got my PC on Friday and have loved every minute using it. I just played around with the hood of my FX today. Boy does the PC ever work in the wax and swirl remover. I used #9 and NXT. Sorry the picture quality is poor. It looks great in person, you can barely see any swirls.

Are these medium compounds worthwhile? I just picked up a PC7424 and want to get started, I found a local place that carry's the Poorboys Super swirl remover line up and was wondering which ones do their job.
