I bought a can of the New Turtle Wax paste today. I thought megs nxt went on and off easy, the turtle wax was actually easier to apply. I guess anything can make a oxford white mustang look good.:p

I was practicing on my wifes 03 Black Mustang GT, the hood has been repainted except for the hood scoop. The scoop is full of scratches from dealer, so I attempted to remove the scratches, first I clayed it, then I used megs scratch X, then I used megs cleaner wax, then zymol cleaner wax...

After I wash the love bugs off, then I use clay to get the stubburn ones, there is still residue left, is there a way to completely get rid of these pests from the paint. Thanks,

The instructions for NXT say wait 15 min. before removing, will that make a difference, or can I just wait until it hazes over then remove it.

What do you keep your clay bar in to keep it fresh and how long should you use it before disgarding it.

Isnt the wax/polish/cleaner etc....supposed to be applied in a back and forth motion, (by hand) not in a circle, but, doesnt the PC turn in a circle, and isnt the PC the best way to apply your products. Im confused:confused: Could someone help with my confusion. Thanks,

Is it possibe to remove light swirls and/or scratches by hand, I dont mind the extra work, I also dont want to be wasting my time if you cant either reduce or remove light swirls or scratches by hand. Thanks,

This may be a repeated thread, but do you have to have a buffer to get a good shine or can you do the same job by hand. That is if the automobile has a decent coat of paint to begin with.:nixweiss
