here is my first attempt at filling in rock chips and then wetsanding. i found that the process itself is very simple...nothing to be afraid of...but it's very difficult to get it to match well. the metallic flake in the paint made it hard to match...with the touch-up paint (duplicolor)...

anyone know where to get smaller quantities of the unigrit products? i can only find 25 sheet packs so far...and definitely don't need that much of each grit level. i'd like 2000 and 3000 grit. thanks-

i think this guy picked the wrong LSP after polishing. :eek: this thing has been sitting at the end of my street for over a week now. i haven't yet come up w/ a good reason why you would have it towed to your home vs. a junkyard, bodyshop, or dealer. either way...winter parking rules...

here is a detail i did for a coworker this weekend. 2000 pontiac grand prix. exterior had moderate to heavy swirls and scratches that come with a six year old daily driver. a few more severe scratches and paint transfer on the rear quarter panels, lots of rock chips on the front facing areas...

grrrr...ANOTHER terribly marred exterior that my PC could barely even touch. the best i can call this attempt was a "great wash and shine" job...but there was maybe 20% defect removal. i tried everything i could, but nothing would touch the massive amounts of scratches in this thing. no good...

i have a decent brush for doing the exterior of rims/tires...and also one that is ok for interior rim work (if it can fit inside the rims). any recommendations for small brushes to get inside rims with crazy spokes, etc and get to the entire inside of the rims? it's hard to tell by looking...
