    Waste of Time?

Don't you hate when customers continually reschedule? First Wednesday, then thursday, and now the nicest day of the month, he calls again, "I can't get it started, it worked fine and everything last night, but I can't get it started". I didn't tell him anything, just sat there...

Huge supercharger on a unexpecting car vs. SC

Worked on a supercharged SC400 today. History of the paint, about 2 years old, with " over 70 hours of wetsanding". I somehow doubt it, but it does look pretty flat. :) Paint job itself is rather funny, way too soft, and was burnt rather badly in some places. Oh well. Exterior got...

    I burnt through my hood!

    Recent Detail vs. Ugh!

I worked on a VERY LARGE 1981 Buick Park Ave. today, and I must say, pheuu! Man that was a long job. The interior didn't turn out to be picture worthy, it really needs a recarpeting job. Exterior was a "fun" job to say the least, with horrendous swirls, and it was a chore compared to most...

    2004 Lexus IS300

Worked on a buddies Lexus IS300 today. I used collonite's IW again, and it looks wicked. The paint had horrible swirls for a silver car, and even SSR3 wouldn't remove all of them!!!!!! Though I thought he'd rather have a clear coat, than a totally swirl free car. :LOLOL Processess...

Review on Collinite 845 Insulator Wax

I recently recieved a sample, as well as a request for a review of the product at hand. At first glance, the product is incased in a normal looking bottle, and doesn't stand out. Its somewhat hard to dispense the product onto your applicator pad due to no dispenser top, only a locking spin...

    Some new dressing

I thought I'd make a post of the new dressing I got from Auto Magic. Its called "Dress it Right". Its water based, and dirt just washed right off, without any staining. It drys to the touch, and has no fling. Very nice product, abit a little expensive. :) Here it is on the buick's new...

    Nice MR2 *BLACK*

I detailed a freshly imported MR2 today, and it was a pretty nice car. It really needs a repaint, as some swirls weren't removable. The car was brought in for a girls 18th birthday. Some birthday gift. :furious: Oh well, processes: Wash Clay Automagic XP Swirl Remover on black...

A friend's car, and some scenery shots as well

I headed out with a friend after detailing his car for a couple photoshoots. I took some pictures of the scenery also, since I'm starting to get tired of the cars. We went around to some different locations in the forks/exchange district, and I thought they turned out pretty cool. Here they...

    My Collection Looking its best

Went into a detailing supply store to browse, and ended up with over 2 years worth of product and a bill for 400 bucks. Hmmm... I got some Automagic: Wet Wax, magic glaze, XP COMPOUND, XP POLISH, XP xpress wax, Dress-it Right water based dressing. As well as 2 of each of the following...

    1.15 / liter of gas?

I just spent $80 to fill up the blazer with premium. Its close to 1.159/liter, which is close to what 5 dollars per gallon? I found that pretty crazy. I could feel the screw job on the backside today. :(

    Possible Best Detail

of mine anyways... Well, I've been working on old run down cars for so long, I've forgotten whats it like to work on a relativly new vehicle. Today I got my chance with this 2005 Dodge Dakota, with close to 15,000km on it. I'm not saying it was perfect, it had its fair share of swirls and...

    Latest Detail v. Liquid Red

Just finished up the other caddy. A full exterior and quick interior wipe down. Its a 2004, but already has close to 64,000 km on it! Paint was in pretty hazy condition, but in relative decent shape. I actually enjoyed working on this one, and that doesn't come around very often. It was...

Did my dad's boss' STS today. I have his wife's CTS tomorrrow, and a 30 dollar tip. Anyways, I tried out a new topper, and am VERY impressed. Went on smooth, and off even easier. I'm going to get you guys to guess as to what it is. As far as the car goes, the paint was the hardest job...

    2004 Silver Cavi vs. Shiney

Recieved the car yesterday after the Lexus, and set to work washing, claying, and detarring. I was happy that the hard part was over, as it was covered in oilly mud and bugs from a trip to Ottawa (3000km?). This was a full detail. Before: No before shots of the engine bay.
