    Meguiar's Gold Class + NuFinish

    We were discussing NuFinish on our car club site and someone in San Antonio Texas experimented with this: He washed his (black) car and waxed it with Meguiar's Gold Class to get that deep carnauba shine. Then he applied a layer of NuFinish. He said the carnauba shine was there but bird poop...

    I'm working on a relatively new 2000 Ford Crown Vic (dark blue) and its got some scratches: the fender lip on the rear is a bit scratched up (i can see the white of the clearcoat on some parts, and other parts its down to the paint), the width is maybe 0.6 cm tops but its rather long...

    Protecting Cloth Car Seats

    Does anyone know any good ways of protecting cloth car seats? I heard Scotchguard but are there any products that would help prevent staining/smudging of dirt on the cloth as well as reduce the amount of wear on the cloth itself (so in say 10 years the cloth won't just disintegrate)?

    Polymers = Silicone OIl?

    I checked some of these "polymer" sealants and most of the CAS #s point to silicone oil. The breakdown temp of this oil is around 458F. Is this true? Is silicone oil really the polymer sealant?

    NuFinish harshness

    I decided to try some NuFinish on my 2000 Ford Crown Victoria. I washed and cleaned the front bumper fascia (plastic/polymer bumper cover) and noticed a lot of dead bugs stuck on there. I cleaned as much of it as I could and decided to trry an experiment. After hearing how harsh it is and...

    Nu Finish Revealed

    http://hazard.com/msds/f/blc/blctm.html 10% stoddard, 1% petro distillates Don't know what else is in there, BUT check out the toxicity report: Just don't inhale it or get it in your eyes, but ingestion does not seem to be a health hazard with NuFinish.

    New plan of attack...

    I talked to some folks who have used NuFinish on clearcoat vehicles and they all say that it doesn't give as good of a shine as carnauba, but its synthetic and durable. My requirements: has to be inexpensive (under $10/bottle 16 oz or so), easy to locate products Easy to apply and remove...

    303 Protectant, Meguiar's, 3M, and NuFinish - Need input

    I hear 303 Aerospace Protectant is THE product to use for vinyl, plastic, rubber, etc... What are your thoughts on this? I used 303 on my T-bird's vinyl rooftop and it performs like a waxed surface in the rain. I actually have rivers of water flowing down my rear window when I take off in...
