Anyone have a NATURAL GAS vent free heater?

I'm looking at natural gas vent free "blue flame" heaters and wondering how well they heat and if they put out a funky smell. Also it seems like they burn cleaner than propane or kerosene? UPC or AIO, which one is better as a base for UPP?

Has anyone used both UPC and AIO as base layers under UPP? Which do you think works better, is easier to use, etc etc. Is it too close to call? Right off the bat I think UPC is cheaper and obviously it was "made" to be the UPP base. FWIW I have only used AIO under UPP so far.
