I see a lot of you guys doing 2-3 stage corrections in one day, including wheels, interior, and engine bays too. It takes me 2-4 hours per stage. How are you moving so fast? The polishes have to break down and finish, but am I breaking them down too long?
Well, after months of neglect, I finally had some time to detail my own ride. This is my project/weekend car. Had her since 36k miles back in 2001, and she had a ROUGH life before me. Spent the first year and a half getting things fixed on her. At 155k miles, the LS1 with full boltons...

Yep, brand new after an 8 year break, the 2010 Camaro returns!!!! A good friend of mine preordered his the first week you could back in October last year. It showed up this week actually ahead of schedule!! This is car #085 off the assembly line. Its a...
A few years ago I saw a product at an autoshow that covers the wheel, allowing you to use an aerosol tire spray without getting any on the wheel itself. I think they are no longer in business though :(
The only other one i've seen is this pathetic one: Wheel Shield
Are there any...
First up is a 1995 Z28. After a long time in the shop (getting a sick 383 LT1 installed for autoXing) and desperately needing a detail, we set it up. Owner requested just a basic detail. It was pretty overcast most of the day, so the pics aren't very bright, but the reflections came out nice...
This a 2006 Range Rover Sport with the supercharger. VERY nice SUV. This owner had bought it recently and wanted to get it looking better than new. I was happy to help. Upon inspection of the car, I noticed that the previous owner did not care for it at all. Extreme baked on brake dust...
Here is a pair of sportbike corrections I did recently. Both were a lot of fun! Each bike had its challenges but both came out great.
First off is a 07 Ducati Monster S2R1000. With 11k miles, it had never been detailed. It was in pretty rough shape. The wheels were bad and the sides of...
2006 Ferrari F430 Sypder
It was in excellent shape when I started working on it, so the before pics aren't anything special. No swirls at all amazingly, so no correction was needed. There was one spot on the front that was stained and wouldn't come out, just fyi. And the exhaust is...
Here is a 2000 Z28 I did for a local club member. It had very heavy swirls and a lot RIDS, especially on the hood, roof, and spoiler which really needed wetsanding and heavy compounding. However, with just 2 stages of buffing, was able to get about 90% overall swirl removal. Could have gotten...
I will be spending the next week or two on this car. Thought I'd put up a teaser pic for now ;) Have to say i'm frustrated with the camera, the pictures HARDLY show how bad this paint is, I mean the pictures really do no justice to how bad it is.
This is after 2 compounding steps...
One of my very good clients contacted me this week and asked if I could help him out on this 2002 Buick Regal. It was owned by his wife's mother who recently passed, and they are settling the estate. The car was to be sold and he just wanted something really simple done to it no clay or...
This GTO customer stopped by while I was working on the Cyber Gray ZR1 to take a look at it. He asked me if I could fix the job his body shop did with repainting his GTO. The hood, roof, and top of the trunk lid were the only original paint, everything else was repainted at the body shop, and...
Here is another ZR1 I did that I thought I'd share with you guys. This one was in considerably better shape than the black one. No swirls or holograms on it thankfully, so no paint correction was needed. Took a little while for the interior since it was a 3ZR package with the leather on the...
A very good customer of mine has an RV and boat he wants done next week. He does want an estimate of the price before he signs off on it and gives me the 'ok'. Been doing his cars for a little while now, and in addition to the RV and boat, he has 3 other cars I'll be doing. So with that said...
I did this ZR1 back in late December, and thought I'd share it with you guys.
This is a car I have been looking forward to doing for a very long time, as I'm a big corvette fan. It finally showed up and I got to work on it! Unfortunately....someone decided to buff the hood before it...
I came across this while cleaning up my photobucket account, and thought I'd share it here.
This was my halloween costume a couple years ago. Enjoy!
:D
Sal really liked it, and I can't say enough about how cool of a guy he is!!!
I've got a white tahoe coming in tomorrow that is heavily contaminated with fallout. I will not be doing paint correction on this one, so I can't use aggressive clay.
I would really like to borrow a decon system from someone tomorrow. I can get it back to you on saturday and pay you for the...
