'94 Supra Overspray Removal & Correction

Back in July a customer contacted me in the morning after finding me through one of the forums. He told me he needed overspray removal and full correction. He was anxious to get it done and drove about an hour and a half to drop the car off the same day and leave it for a week. This ’94...

Anyone had to make a claim on their business insurance for detailing?

Another thread made me wonder; has anyone had, or know someone who has had a claim on their insurance for detailing? I know there are a lot of weekend warriors and other sort of part timers who go without. I figure it might be a good opportunity to warn them of the risks they are taking and...

Lexus LS460 center console polishing suggestions?

'07 Lexus LS460L with scratches... one very big along the side. Hand polishing with 105 didn't make a dent. Any ideas or does anyone have experience with removing this? The scratching is much worse than the photos show.

    Bacteria inside a car

Stumbled upon this article. Reminded me of a study years ago from Oxford University, IIRC, that said a car steering wheel harbored more bacteria than a public toilet. Learn where the top bacterial hot spots are in your car Here's a thought. Make interior components easier to remove or...

    Show me your pumpkin!!!

I have always liked Halloween. My attention to detail goes way beyond cars. I'm guessing there are others here like me. The first 4 are this year's. The others from last year.

    WIPE NEW??? Anyone tried it?

I thought about giving it a shot just out of curiosity but their "deal" becomes $35+ with their S&H charges for the "free" bonus items. I like to know about these "revolutionary" products so that I can be informed when a customer asks me about them...

Questions about Opti-Coat and spot repairs

I have a customer who bought a used M3 as a daily driver about 4-5 months ago. I Opti-Coated it for him. There were a couple of small defects (2 chips on hood and gouge on rear bumper from something dragged out of trunk) that he decided, at the time, he would live with since the car is just a...
